    I was about to go to Bonchon because I was craving spicy chicken. Saw this place on TikTok and decided to go here instead. It did NOT dissapoint! The chicken, the cheese, the spice was AMAZING!! Will be back

    Pelicana has always been a great experience every time we've come here. It's the perfect spot to go to late night. Not too busy, great food, and great service! My family loves the honey soy crispy wings and the shaken fries. Every time I've come I've gotten the screwbar ice cream soju and it's a nice little treat. Overall great experience every time 10/10 would recommend.

    I think I would like to give Pelicana something between 3 and 4 stars. While the chicken was very tasty, I just don't think it justifies the price. I ordered takeout and got their crispy fried wings with signature sauce. Service was friendly and pickup was prompt. Pickled radish is free, even though the menu makes it seem like they charge for it. It comes in these slightly inconvenient peel-back packages that will spill as soon as the seal is disturbed, so open with caution! When I opened the box, I had a definite moment of "oh those are smaller than I expected". For $20 + tax, the amount given just didn't wow me. The sauce is sticky-sweet with a bit of caramelization, and the meat itself is very tender. Honestly since I was ordering to-go, I should have saved myself a dollar and gotten their classic chicken, since the drive home through rush hour traffic will beat the crispiness out of everything. I might come back to try Pelicana in-store to get the True Crispy Experience, but I don't think this is a must-try or a super impressive spot for me. The chicken was nice, yes, and it reheated well, but it wasn't enough to really wow me.
